Screenings for the older people
The EYE Cinema has started a new monthly screening for the more mature members of our community – retired or otherwise. This new monthly screening to be known as ‘Golden Eye’ will take place the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11.30am.
Free tea and coffee will be available at Bar Café Electric after the screening and will allow filmgoers a chance to catch up with each other. Tickets are priced is €5.20 (6.95 for 3D shows) with complimentary tea/coffee after the screening. For more information on booking please call 091 78 00 78.
Parent and Baby Mornings
EYE Scream! is a film screening set up exclusively for parents and carers and their babies. At EYE Scream! parents and carers can enjoy a full-length feature film with their babies on their laps without worrying about disturbing others. What makes it yummy? The valet buggy parking, the dimmed lights, the lower sound level and the nappy changing facilities for those who need it! What makes it even yummier? It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a morning break and indulge yourself in our fine herbal tea selection or coffee. Tempting or what! Tickets €5.20(6.95 for 3D) per adult (babies under 2 come free!) Showings are screened on Wednesday mornings at 10.30am (excluding school holidays) so the dates you need to keep free for EYE Scream are (movies are confirmed on the week previous to each of these dates):

Books 2 Film Club
New monthly Eye 'Books 2 Film' Club screenings
Special Monthly Screenings for book worms and movie enthusiasts.
The Eye Cinema in Wellpark is proud to run their Eye 'Books 2 Film' Club monthly program for the last number of years. The Eye invites book lovers and movie enthusiasts of all ages to come together on the last Wednesday of every month, view the selected movie title and have a discussion of both the book and film after the screening finishes. The club will focus on books adapted into movies that include bestsellers, classics, romance and mystery.
Early bird prices apply for the morning screening and complimentary Tea/Coffee will be available after the movie.
The dates to keep in the diary for the Eye 'Books 2 Film' Club are:
Wednesday 30th November at 11.00am and the title is 'The Light Between Oceans' (15A) based on the novel by M. L. Stedman.
